Avanti at Windpower India

Avanti Wind Systems was among the around 100 exhibitors at India's first major international wind energy exhibition and conference, Windpower India 2011 at Chennai Trade Centre in Chennai, India.
The market for wind energy in India is booming, and today India is the world's 5th largest market for wind energy.

India has earlier had two major national exhibitions and conferences on wind energy. The first was in Pune in 2006, the second in Chennai in 2008. This year's exhibition and conference were organized by the World Institute of Sustainable Energy, Global Energy Council and Indian Wind Turbine Manufactures Association.
Avanti Wind Systems has a ladder factory, training center and sales office in Chennai. At the exhibition visitors had the opportunity to see some of Avanti's lifts, ladder systems and Climb Assistance System. Avanti Wind Systems also informed on its courses for the technicians who work in wind turbine towers.
