Avanti meets US Law makers

Avanti Wind Systems once again took an active role in meeting with US Law makers on Capitol Hill in Washington D.C.

American Wind Energy Association (AWEA) conducted the annual AWEA Lobby Day in Washington D.C. and Avanti’s General Manager in USA, Kent Pedersen, attended along with more than 100 US wind industry leaders, who combined conducted over 100 meetings with Representatives from both the US Senate and House.

The US Wind industry seeks predictable policies in order to increase investment. The wind industry in the USA continues to endure a boom-bust cycle because of the lack of long term, predicable federal policies. Policies that would provide the wind industry consistency and market certainty include a national renewable electricity standard and long-term tax policies.
