Avanti Wind Systems opens in Brazil

Brazil is one of the most exciting new markets for wind power. The Brazilian government has decided to launch new projects, leading to installation of around 7000 megawatts of wind power in the coming three years. Already there are agreements that Brazil this year will install turbines with a capacity of just under 2000 megawatts.
Therefore, Avanti Wind Systems has decided to open an office and a factory in Brazil. From there, Avanti will deliver Service Lifts, Climb Assist, ladders, Fall Protection, Rescue Systems and other internals for wind turbine towers in Latin America and the Caribbean. Avanti will also from the new business unit will offer training for technicians working in wind turbines and services (installation, certifications, inspections and repairs).
