Certificates on Environment and Health & Safety Management.

Avanti Wind Systems has just completed the last stage of the certification audit for OHSAS 18001:2008 and ISO 14001:2004. This means that the company’s multi site certificate now covers the three large standards of Quality, Environment and Health & Safety Management.

Third party certification provider LRQA - Lloyd’s Register of Quality Assurance - has done the certification. LRQA is worldwide recognised and respected for their high standards of technical competence, and is furthermore represented in 120 countries. Over half of the world’s top companies have chosen LRQA as well.

ISO 9001 is the globally benchmark for Quality management systems. It is implemented by 1 million organisations in 159 countries. The system ensures that Avanti keeps focus on continuously improvement of product-processes and service quality as well as on measurable improvement of customer satisfaction.

ISO 14001 is a globally recognised environmental management system, implemented by 200.000 organizations in 155 countries. The implementation of the system assures that Avanti minimizes harmful effects on the environment caused by its activities, and helps Avanti to achieve continual improvement of the environmental performance.


OHSAS 18001 is the best known system in the world for Health & Safety Management. The purpose of the system implementation is to eliminate or minimize risk to employees and others that could be affected by Avanti activities.
