New wind power to 50.000 household in northern Spain
Enel Green Power has started operations at a 50 MW wind farm in Spain. It is the Aguilón Wind Farm in the province of Zaragoza.
The Aguilón plant has 25 Gamesa G-87 turbines each producing 2MW. The farm will have an annual production of around 139 million kilowatt hours. That is enough energy to supply more than 50.000 households.
The 25 wind turbine towers are equipped with Service Lifts type Shark L from Avanti Wind Systems.
