Naturally, Avanti Wind Systems was one of the exhibitors at the world's largest wind energy conference and exhibition,
Windpower 2009, in Chicago, Illinois, USA.
AWEA - the American Wind Energy Association - organises the Windpower exhibition
every year. And every year, the exhibition just keeps getting bigger and bigger. This year, 1200 companies from the wind energy
industry took part. They came from 48 different countries - and the exhibition received 23,000 visitors.
At Windpower,
Avanti Wind Systems displayed and gave demonstrations of the company's lifts, climb assistance system and fall safety equipment.
The Avanti stand was well visited on all exhibition days, making it possible to catch up with current customers and establish
contact with potential new customers.
The number of exhibitors at this year's Windpower was double that of last year.
Windpower 2010 will be held on 23 - 26 May in Dallas, Texas. Optimism in the American wind energy industry has never been
higher, so the organisers are already predicting a record number of participants in 2010.
