The Avanti Climb Assistance

Avanti Climb Assistance System reduces strain on technicians, making it safer and easier to climb ladders in wind turbines. For maximum safety, it is always installed alongside a fall protection system.

How does it work?
The Climb Assistance System operates with an endless rope running along the ladder. A driving unit installed at the bottom provides a constant pulling force, adjustable between 35 kg and 45 kg. When the technician connects to the rope with a clamp and gently pulls it, the selected weight is offset, reducing strain during the climb. If the technician stops, the system pauses automatically and resumes with a gentle pull on the rope. The user can climb at their own pace, whether slowly or quickly.

Avanti Climb Assistance - The Easy Climb

Safe
Compatibility with most of fall protection systems has been tested.

Easy to install
Installation in existing vertical ladders is feasible due to multiple accessories that adapt to any ladder system and tower design.

Time-saving
The user can attach to the rope at any point.

Increased safety for the user
Assistance reduces fatigue and the risk of injuries to technicians. The user controls the device with body movement, ensuring both hands remain secured on the ladder.

Avanti Wind Systems' Climb Assistance system enhances technician safety and reduces fatigue by providing easier ascent and descent on ladders inside wind turbines. It is always installed in conjunction with a fall protection system for maximum safety

A endless rope runs from the bottom to the top of the tower. It is connected to a motor at the base of the tower, where the technician can adjust the pulling force within the range of 35kg (77lb) and 45kg (99lb). When the technician links to Avanti Climb Assistance with a hook and gently pulls the rope, the user will be relieved of the chosen number of kilos.
